The 5th international symposium on Serpin Biology, Structure and Function will take place on July 12-16, 2008. The place of the venue is The Faculty Club in Leuven, Belgium.

Activities in Leuven during the conference

  • Friday, July 11 at different squares in Leuven: Beleuvenissen. A free music festival in seven locations in the historic heart of the city (20th edition). The theme of this edition will be folk music. For exact locations and program check www.beleuvenissen.be.
  • Saturday, July 12 at 20h00: Colora 2008, a festival of world music. For more information check www.colora.org.
  • Saturday, July 12 at 21h00: Ladeuzebells (www.ladeuzebells.be). Carillon concert by Geert D’hollander (aka “the Amadeus of the Carillon”). He will play his own work “Clustrofobia” and the spectacular Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saëns.
  • Sunday, July 13 at 10h30: Summer Walk in Leuven (guided tour).
  • Tuesday, July 15 at 12h15: Summer of Saint Peter. Free lunch concert in the Saint-Peter’s Church.
  • Wednesday, July 16 at 12h15: Summer of Saint Peter. Free lunch concert in the Saint-Peter’s Church.
